“I was a chemistry teacher at Cornell University when I decided to pursue a career in medicine. As a former professional photographer, I was always interested in the relationship that exists between the eye and the visual system of the camera. This, along with the technological advancements that were being made in eye care, led me to the field of ophthalmology. Being able to diagnose and treat a whole host of eye diseases and abnormalities is both personally and professionally rewarding to me.
“When I started practicing over two decades ago, my goal was to provide patients with innovative, proven solutions for their vision needs along with the utmost friendliness and compassion. Today, I am proud to say that I still uphold these standards on a daily basis for every patient I see. After making a diagnosis, I will explain any recommended treatment and how it can help improve their vision in simple, easy-to-understand language. I will also take the time to answer my patients’ questions and address any concerns they may have. This interactive approach helps make the whole process a positive one for patients and their families.”

“The eye is a remarkable organ that’s responsible for one of our most vital senses. My facination with the whole visual process, coupled with my lifelong interest in science and mathematics, is what led me to the field of optometry. For nearly 1 5 years, I’ve stayed on top of the latest advances in eye exams, contact lenses, and eyeglasses. My ultimate goal is to help my patients achieve and maintain clear, healthy vision which, ultimately, can enhance your quality of life.”
“Interacting with patients on a daily basis is something that I really enjoy. And when my patients come in for their appointments, I give them my full and undivided attention. I will take the time to get to know my patients on a personal level, which can make their visits a friendly comfortable experience. Once my patients’ vision exams are complete, I will explain the results of in terms they will understand so they have a complete understanding of their vision health. In addition, I make a point of keeping my patients well-informed of the latest advances in optometry.”
